Stainless steel 316 ball valves are mainly made of iron, chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%) and molybdenum (2-3%). They exhibit good mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength (approximately 515 MPa), yield strength (205 MPa), and good ductility These valves are corrosion resistant, especially in chloride environments, and are ideal for marine and chemical applications. Their durability, low maintenance and ability to withstand high temperatures (up to 870°C) further enhance their utility, making them reliable for operation in industrial applications in various fields
